My background in Human Resources has equipped me with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail, which I apply daily to ensure smooth and efficient operations. With a friendly and organized approach, I am committed to providing a comfortable and seamless experience for each patient.

Jessica completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting in 2009. She has enjoyed working in different aspects of dentistry, gaining knowledge and experience in both general dentistry and orthodontics.

Having a straighter, brighter, and more confident smile is greatly desired and beneficial in many ways. Jessica enjoys being a part of each patient’s journey of what orthodontic treatment can do to enhance their beautiful smiles.

Hello! My name is Aisha, and I’m happy to be the newest addition to the Modern Orthodontics team. I’ve always had an interest in dentistry and focused most of my career in customer service roles. And after many years, I’ve entered the exciting world of orthodontics and I can’t wait to learn more about it.

As a certified dental assistant, you’ll see me working alongside our Specialist Orthodontists, Oral Hygienists, and Therapists to ensure your treatment is as smooth and comfortable every step of the way so that by the end of your journey you leave us with the perfect smile you deserve!

Judy Wong has completed a Diploma of Dental Technology at Holmesglen Institute of TAFE in 2016 and qualified as a Dental Technician in Australia. After graduating, she worked as a dental technician in Hong Kong for 3.5 years, focusing on crowns, bridges and implants. Her interest is also in supporting dentists with the latest digital technology to design different dental appliances, for example, surgical guides and temporary crowns.

In late 2020, Judy joined us, working as a dental assistant and technician at Modern Orthodontics. She’s worked with us for more than three years now.

Hey there! My name is Maria Nguyen. I was born and raised in Vietnam, and I'm very grateful to join the team at Modern Orthodontics as a new member. My background is in medicinal chemistry, and I have a strong passion for working in the medical field, particularly in dentistry.

Prior to her role at MO, Niomi's dental career began after studying Dental Technology at Holmesglen Tafe where she moved on to work at an all around dental laboratory and prosthetic laboratory. Throughout her experience at these clinics, Niomi was able to hone her skills in the making of Prosthetic, Metal and Orthodontic appliances.

Niomi has always been interested in the dental industry despite her phobia of going to the dentist. She loves developing her skills and knowledge in a line of work that pushes and motivates her and leaves clients feeling confident in the treatment of their smile!

Marina has over a decade of experience in the dental industry. She originally graduated as a Dentist and earned a Master of Science in Orthodontics in Brazil. In Australia, she has over seven years of experience working in various sectors of the dental industry, including private and corporate dental practices. She has also worked for a medical devices company specialising in the end-to-end manufacturing of clear aligners.

Ruchi is a passionate public health professional with a strong foundation in dentistry. She joined Modern Orthodontics in May 2022 after completing her Master of Public Health with focus on oral health research. She also has bachelor’s degree in Dentistry from India and her education and experience are grounded around patient care, oral health education and raising awareness within communities. She is passionate about promoting beautiful smiles and is dedicated to inspiring oral health in individuals, groups, and communities.

As a Treatment Coordinator and mother, she understands the importance of a healthy, confident smile.

She is passionate about supporting patients throughout their orthodontic journey, providing clear guidance on treatment options, timelines, and payment information. She takes particular care in helping first-time and nervous patients feel comfortable and reassured. Fluent in English and Mandarin, with a basic understanding of Cantonese, she is committed to providing clear, patient-centred care to every family.

Hi, I’m Caitlin! I recently relocated to Melbourne from the UK and am thrilled to be part of the team here at Modern Orthodontics. With a background in primary teaching, I bring strong communication and organisational skills to my role. My experience in education has helped me develop the ability to connect with people and ensure that every new patient feels welcomed and informed right from the start.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and exploring new cultures, and I also love staying active through netball. I’m passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a friendly, welcoming environment for all of our patients.

Bonnie is a Receptionist who enjoys administrative work and meeting patients every day. She is passionate about creating a warm and welcoming environment, helping patients feel at ease from the moment they arrive.

She supports the team with appointment scheduling, patient enquiries, and day-to-day reception duties to ensure the clinic runs smoothly, while delivering a positive and caring patient experience.

Ava is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce and Science, developing a strong foundation across business and scientific disciplines. She is enthusiastic about learning, enjoys working with others, and brings a positive and friendly approach to her role.

Outside of her studies, Ava enjoys playing soccer and staying active. Her passion for soccer reflects her team-oriented nature and commitment to collaboration.

Originally from Hong Kong with a background in Health Science, Dorothy is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

With a friendly and caring approach, she is committed to providing patients with a comfortable and positive experience while supporting the dental team.

Hi, I’m Jemima! I am currently in my final year of University, studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering (Honors), focusing on product development and AI integration in the medical field.

I have been a Dental Assistant at Modern Orthodontics since January 2025, and always aim to provide the best care and support to both the patients and clinicians. I love travelling, hiking and meeting new people, and one on one contact with patients is my favourite aspect of the work here.

Hi, I’m Patrice! I hold a Bachelor of Biomedicine and recently completed my Honours degree, where I specialized in 3D-printed dental prostheses.

My personal experience with braces originally sparked my interest in the dental industry, and my two years as a dental assistant have only deepened my passion for patient care. At Modern Orthodontics, I believe everyone deserves the highest quality treatment supported by an exceptional team. With my Mandarin and Cantonese background, I look forward to helping every one of you achieve a healthy, confident smile!

Pulkit is a qualified dentist from India with a Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry alongside advanced studies in Master of Public Health in Australia.

Having worked within diverse Australian dental settings, he has a strong interest in patient care, oral health, and creating positive experiences for patients.

Hi, I’m Vian, and I joined Modern Orthodontics in 2025! My interest in orthodontics began when I had braces as a teenager. I was so happy with the results that it sparked my curiosity and inspired me to learn more about the field.

I’ve always enjoyed biology and physics, and working in dentistry has allowed me to expand my knowledge of oral health. You’ll find me working alongside our dentists and oral health therapists to help make your visit as comfortable as possible.

Lilian graduated from the University of Melbourne and has gained experience working across community and private practices. She has a strong passion for orthodontics and is particularly passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles in a supportive and positive environment.

Lilian is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care and strives to create a calm, comfortable, and reassuring experience for every patient.

Paige joined the Modern Orthodontics team as a dental assistant and front desk receptionist in April 2025. You’ll find her working alongside our Specialist Orthodontists and Oral Health Therapists as well as answering phones and emails and compiling all of the digital works for both clinics.

Originally from the United States, Paige immigrated to Australia after meeting her husband while studying abroad. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 2020.
